Roundtable

The Homeland project is about hearing what our community has to say about immigration, and to get the community talking about immigration issues. To that end we decided to see what would happen if we invited a few members of our community to sit down and tell us what was on their minds about immigration, with a camera rolling.

So, five St. Louis area residents recently got together to discuss immigration at Schlafly’s Tap Room in downtown St. Louis. The Homeland team found some of them from KETC’s Public Insight Network, from an online discussion, and from our work in the community. Here is what the group had to say about the media’s portrayal of immigration issues.

The group includes: Jasha McQueen Gadberry, John Beidle, Rob Scharfenburg, Catherine Nolan and Tiffany Sonnier.
